Journey Early Learning Centre Corinda is where your child’s journey begins. We provide a nurturing environment filled with curiosity, wonder and joy. It’s a place where children aged from six weeks to six years of age can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity.
Discover the possibilities
This newly built centre features transitional indoor and outdoor play areas, perfect for play-based learning. The environment is filled with natural resources which inspire our little adventurers and teach them fundamental motor skills, under the watchful eye of our educators. The outdoor area has to be seen to be believed. It features alfresco dining, a water play area, sports field, sandpits, multi-level fort, rock climbing wall, a bike track and more. The nursery explorers have access to their own outdoor area with plenty of sensory experiences to engage their curious minds and encourage positive growth.
Connecting with the community
Journey Early Learning is a vital part of the Corinda community, and as such we love to head out on regular expeditions to places like the local library and the nearby park. We also love to have visitors. That’s why we invite families in for a monthly family breakfast inspired by Wholesome Child and whipped up by our fabulous cook.
Preparation for school
From peek-a-boo to prep, we’re here every step of the way.
School transition is a major focus, and we work hard to ensure this is a smooth process. By providing a safe and secure environment, our children develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self for the school journey ahead.
In order to ensure every child is prepared for school, our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our Teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are run by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolling in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program are provided with ongoing support from teachers in preparation for school through our School Readiness Program.
Did you know that your child can attend Journey from 6 weeks to their first day of school?

Hi, my name is Christopher and I am the Centre Manager at Journey Corinda. I have been a part of the Early Childhood sector for 20 years, starting in the industry as a school-based trainee and now leading my team to provide the best quality of care to the Corinda community.
I love being a part of the Journey family, and I have been at Journey Corinda since the centre opening in 2019.
The first 5 years of a child’s education journey is important as this sets the foundations for learning and development. I believe in providing a safe, nurturing environment through our stellar programming and practices. My team go above and beyond to provide children with the right tools they need to enter school. We have strong relationships with local schools that assist with seamlessly transitioning children to school.
I have a great team around me. It’s rewarding to be around qualified educators that are inspired to provide exceptional programs and care.
I am inspired to make all children, families and community to feel at home at Journey Corinda.
Outside of work, I am a big footy fan (Go Broncos!), a proud dad to my son, and enjoy ten pin bowling.
