Journey Early Learning Carseldine is where your child’s journey begins. Recently opened in March 2021, our amazing childcare centre provides a nurturing environment filled with curiosity, wonder and joy. It’s a place where children aged from six weeks to six years of age can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity.
There is so much to love about Journey Carseldine, with a variety of activities for every child.
Journey Carseldine isn’t just a place for children, but adults too! Before you start your day, stay for a chat, enjoy a barista made coffee and freshly baked treats.
We invite you to take a tour of the centre today and see the Journey difference!
From peek-a-boo to prep, we’re here every step of the way.
School transition is a major focus, and we work hard to ensure this is a smooth process. By providing a safe and secure environment, our children develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self for the school journey ahead.
In order to ensure every child is prepared for school, our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our Teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are run by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolling in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program are provided with ongoing support from teachers in preparation for school through our School Readiness Program.
Did you know that your child can attend Journey from 6 weeks to their first day of school?
We’ve designed a helpful Child Care Subsidy calculator so you can discover more about your government entitlements. Need help? We’re here to chat, just book an appointment below.
Welcome to Journey Early Learning Carseldine. My name is Monique and I am the newly appointed Co-Centre Manager at Journey Carseldine. The Early Years has always held an important place in my heart. I entered the sector after spending my childhood assisting my mum at her Early Learning Centre and watching the lifelong connections and skills that were shared within the centre.
For over 15 years I have had the pleasure to be an advocate for children and their families within the Early Years and be part of their journey of developing those foundational skills that children will carry throughout their lives. I recognise the important role the family plays in a child’s life and therefore continually collaborate to share and learn from each child’s family who enters our service.
I have two children of my own with my oldest embarking on her next education chapter in high school. Therefore, I understand and have witnessed the impact high quality early learning centres can have not only on a child’s life but the family’s and community as well. The biggest baby of our family is our golden retriever who believes he is a lap dog! He is the gentle soul of our family and holds the key to all our hearts.
Meet Billie, the Co-Centre Manager at Journey Carseldine.
I have been managing early education centres since 2006, and I am extremely passionate about creating quality relationships with children and their families.
Please feel free to stop, introduce yourself and say hi. I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
The Journey Early
Interacting and connecting with the local community, ensures a bond is maintained between the children and the community, creating a sense of familiarity and belonging. It sets a rewarding scene for every child to rightfully respect their local environment.

Exploring nature-based play
Children love getting out and exploring in nature. It really is the greatest teacher. Nature based play is a core part of our curriculum. That’s because it teaches them vital life skills including confidence, independence, exploration and cooperation. Playing outside also promotes health and wellbeing and teaches them respect for the environment.
Our friends in the community
Life is better with friends! We have great friendships within the community.
We regularly catch up with the residents at Carseldine Gardens and share stories over morning tea.
Bunnings Carseldine kindly donate resources for us to use in our woodwork shed!
