The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is a guide for early childhood educators to support and nurture children&#8217;s individual learning needs in active collaboration with families and the<br>community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as children evolve, so does the field of early childhood education. This update focuses on refining the framework to support your child&#8217;s learning journey even<br>better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-enhancing-educators-practice\">Enhancing Educators Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Three aspects have been enhanced, particularly in the recent Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) update, to further enrich your child&#8217;s learning experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-collaborative-leadership\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#6fbfef\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Collaborative Leadership<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At Journey Early Learning, we believe that teamwork makes the dream work! The updated EYLF now emphasises collaborative leadership, which means that everyone \u2013 from educators to families to our wider community \u2013 works together to support your child&#8217;s learning and well-being. We create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive by sharing ideas, communicating openly, and respecting each other&#8217;s contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sustainability\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#6fbfef\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Sustainability<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re passionate about teaching your child to care for the world around them, which is why sustainability is a big focus in the updated EYLF. Sustainability is not just about recycling and looking after the environment (though that&#8217;s important, too!). It also means helping your child understand the social and<br>economic aspects of caring for our planet. Through activities that promote environmental awareness, social justice, and responsible citizenship and we&#8217;re empowering your child to become a positive force for change in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-aboriginal-and-torres-strait-islander-perspectives\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#6fbfef\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Australia has a rich and diverse history. The updated EYLF strongly emphasises incorporating Indigenous perspectives into our curriculum. By learning about Dreamtime stories, traditional art, and cultural practices, your child gains a deeper understanding of Australia&#8217;s First Nations peoples and their contributions to our society. Through meaningful engagement with Indigenous communities, we&#8217;re fostering a sense of respect, empathy, and reconciliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Our dedicated team of educators, who are passionate about your child&#8217;s growth and development, constantly strives to create enriching experiences.
