Safeguarding Children

Safeguarding children

At Journey Early Learning, the safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. We ensure every child every day is safe, secure and protected. We are united through Journey’s Commitment to Safeguarding Children and adhere to our See, Act, Tell framework. This framework empowers us to actively uphold and advocate for the rights and voices of children, focusing on the prevention, recognition, and response to abuse, neglect, and harm.

National Principles for Child Safe Organisations

As a child-safe organisation, we at Journey are dedicated to upholding Australia’s National Principles for children’s safety and wellbeing. These principles are based on the work of the Royal Commission, Australia’s Children’s Commissioners and Guardians, and the 2005 National Framework for Creating Safe Environments for Children. They are grounded in a child-rights approach designed to build capacity and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children across organisations, families, and communities.
