Journey Early Learning Kyneton is where your child’s journey begins. Children from ages six weeks to six years are surrounded by stimulating learning environments and nurturing educators. It’s a place where children can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity.
We look forward to providing a nurturing environment filled with curiosity, wonder and joy.
From peek-a-boo to prep, we’re here every step of the way.
School transition is a major focus, and we work hard to ensure this is a smooth process. By providing a safe and secure environment, our children develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self for the school journey ahead.
In order to ensure every child is prepared for school, our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our Teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are run by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolling in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program are provided with ongoing support from teachers in preparation for school through our School Readiness Program.
Did you know that your child can attend Journey from 6 weeks to their first day of school?
We’ve designed a helpful Child Care Subsidy calculator so you can discover more about your government entitlements. Need help? We’re here to chat, just book an appointment below.
I am Zainab, or Zee, and I am very excited to join the Centre!
With more than ten years of experience working with children across a wide range of ages and abilities, and a dedicated focus on early childhood education since 2018, I bring a philosophy centred on the belief that “Every Child Matters.” I am committed to creating environments where children, families and educators feel genuinely seen, heard and valued.
I have a strong interest in implementing developmentally appropriate, inclusive curriculum frameworks, play-based education, and thoughtfully integrating cultural values and dispositions into curriculum design. These areas continue to inspire my practice and shape the way I support children’s learning and wellbeing.
I am trained in Latin American dance and am always ready to salsa, bachata and cha cha. My husband and I love travelling, cooking together, learning new languages, and exploring the outdoors through walks, hikes and bike rides. We relocated to Melbourne in 2024 after spending nearly eight years in beautiful New Zealand.
I am excited to build meaningful relationships and contribute to the wonderful community at Journey Early Learning, Kyneton.

Interacting and connecting with the local community, ensures a bond is maintained between the children and the community, creating a sense of familiarity and belonging. It sets a rewarding scene for every child to rightfully respect their local environment.
