Journey Early Learning Kyneton is where your child’s journey begins. Children from ages six weeks to six years are surrounded by stimulating learning environments and nurturing educators. It’s a place where children can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity.
We look forward to providing a nurturing environment filled with curiosity, wonder and joy.
Preparing for school
From peek-a-boo to prep, we’re here every step of the way.
School transition is a major focus, and we work hard to ensure this is a smooth process. By providing a safe and secure environment, our children develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self for the school journey ahead.
In order to ensure every child is prepared for school, our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our Teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are run by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolling in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program are provided with ongoing support from teachers in preparation for school through our School Readiness Program.
Did you know that your child can attend Journey from 6 weeks to their first day of school?

My name is Monique Niven, I am super excited to be the Centre Manager at Journey Early Learning Kyneton!
My interest in a career for Early Education steams back to childhood experiences and my passion to advocate for children has fortunately become reality for the last 15 years.
I have had the pleasure of working with many amazing Educators, Teachers and Leaders, starting with my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood I now hold my Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary school Teaching, this has been an asset to my teaching career and have really enjoyed teaching all ages across many different services and schools.
I live a simple personal life, and will admit to being a closet nerd, while I take enjoyment in reading and researching, and taking little day trips taking in the beautiful scenery of Victoria…. my little family at home is my partner Tony, my daughter Kim and her boyfriend Jack, and recently becoming a grandma……to a fur baby, Bean!
I joined Journey Early Learning Kyneton in August last year – and feel my values align with those of Journey standards and look forward to welcoming you and your child to our service and being a part of their journey!
My door is always open, and always up for a chat, come and say hello.
