Journey Epsom is a warm and homely early learning centre that inspires adventure and joy. The centre is designed around your little explorer and play-based learning. That means getting messy, digging in the dirt and playing in amongst the gardens. Our play spaces inspire children to work together with their friends to conquer milestones with confidence. We encourage our children to test their boundaries, while helping them to achieve different outcomes.
We focus on instilling a sense of community and supporting our little people to be connected to the world around them. We do this through the creation of stimulating, nature-inspired play and learning spaces, with a focus on developing close and respectful relationships.
From peek-a-boo to prep, we’re here every step of the way.
School transition is a major focus, and we work hard to ensure this is a smooth process. By providing a safe and secure environment, our children develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self for the school journey ahead.
In order to ensure every child is prepared for school, our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our Teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are run by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolling in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program are provided with ongoing support from teachers in preparation for school through our School Readiness Program.
Did you know that your child can attend Journey from 6 weeks to their first day of school?

“I have had 3 of my children here over a period of 5 years and the service provided had been amazing. The educators are warm, friendly, nurturing, bubbly and bright. My kids don’t even miss me when I leave now they miss the educators when they have to go home. For somewhere my children spend a lot of time im glad they feel so comfortable and loved.
It has one of the best outdoor areas from any I have seen in Bendigo and always looks nice and clean. 10 out of 5 stars!”
“Wonderful centre. Lovely staff also! Always gives great feedback on your child’s day. The centre and yard are very clean and inviting for the children. I love to to see pictures of my child through the app and it’s great you can communicate with the staff throughout the day, if need be.”
“The staff are absolutely outstanding. They genuinely care for the wellbeing and development of the children, and we couldn’t be happier.”

Exploring nature-based play
Children love getting out and exploring in nature. It really is the greatest teacher. Nature based play is a core part of our curriculum. That’s because it teaches them vital life skills including confidence, independence, exploration and cooperation. Playing outside also promotes health and wellbeing and teaches them respect for the environment.
