Journey Early Learning Echuca is where your child’s journey begins. Our amazing childcare centre in Echuca provides a nurturing environment filled with curiosity, wonder and joy. It’s a place where children aged from six weeks to six years of age can make a positive start to a life of learning, development, growth and opportunity.
Preparing for school
From peek-a-boo to prep, we’re here every step of the way.
School transition is a major focus, and we work hard to ensure this is a smooth process. By providing a safe and secure environment, our children develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self for the school journey ahead.
In order to ensure every child is prepared for school, our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed by our Teachers to align with the Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are run by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators. Children enrolling in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program are provided with ongoing support from teachers in preparation for school through our School Readiness Program.
Did you know that your child can attend Journey from 6 weeks to their first day of school?

My name is Leeanne Mathers. I am the Centre Manager at Journey Echuca. I have been in the Early Childhood Industry for over 30 years and hold a Diploma in Children’s Services. I have been in management/leadership positions since 2008 in both Bendigo and Echuca. I take great pride in knowing that our centre in Echuca is one that strives for excellence and quality of Education and Care and I am extremely proud to lead a wonderful complement of Educators who are committed, dedicated and truly amazing at what they do.
As the Centre Manager I enjoy partnering with families, staff, children and the community to create an environment that is warm, welcoming and inspiring. I enjoy watching how each child develops and I am inspired to question how I as a leader can play an important role in their development.
I look forward to meeting you at our Centre.
